of Tourism reports that Hurricane Emily, a Category One storm that
impacted Grenada on Wednesday, July 13, 2005, did not result in any
damages to its hotel sector. The Grenada Board of Tourism also
reports that all hotels are functioning as normal, as well as the
established tourist sites and attractions, restaurants and dive
sites. Grenada's Carnival, set for August 8th and 9th, and the
Carriacou Regatta, scheduled for July 24th to August 1st, will be
held as planned.

Juarez, reports no injuries or major structural damage after
Hurricane Emily. Hotel zone services such as electricity, water,
communications and local transportation, are working normally.
Hotels have reported minimal property damage, mostly downed posts,

Yucatan Peninsula was in Puerto Aventuras, where the storm's eye
came ashore some 60 miles south of the resort of Cancun and in

since 9:00 am this morning and is fully operational.

Following Hurricane Emily: Playa del Carmen, Mexico (July 21,
2005) -- The Riviera Maya region of Mexico, located just to the
south of Cancun on the Yucatan peninsula, announces that
electricity and running water have been restored to some parts of
the region affected by Hurricane Emily. Phone service is also
returning to normal operations, however it is still limited.

following Hurricane Emily. In addition, the region's main airport,
Cancun International Airport, is fully operational and roads are
traversable, with good road conditions on the highways connecting

eco-park reported no significant
damage, but will close for clean-up re-opening on July 23.
Xcaret reported no loss of fauna, but has closed and has yet to

their facilities and services, mainly in the areas of Puerto
Aventuras and Tulum.

joined forces with other state and local authorities to accurately
assess the status of area hotels following Hurricane Emily. Seven
teams were dispatched yesterday to visit all properties in the
region to evaluate material damages and gather statistics. Based on

hotels that are fully operational will be made available for
tourists.
