Card Credit Mobile Service But according to Mr. Dexter Morris of Houston, Texas-based Labwire, Inc. (OTC: LBWR) there are ways small businesses can save.

Sen. Paul Sarbanes, the committee's Ranking Democrat from Maryland, said, "Erroneous negative information on credit reports can often take a significant investment of time and money to remove. They can also be extremely costly to consumers by significantly raising borrower costs. Not only do such inaccuracies raise the cost of borrowing, but they may also actually cost the consumer a loan. Insurers, mortgage banks, and other financial institutions rely heavily on credit scores to make credit decisions.

Card Credit Discover Service Morris is on a crusade to help small businesses qualify for discounts on their workman's compensation plans that he says can save small business owners on average 5 percent and in some states as much as 15 percent, depending on the business location.

Credit Public Service Union "Several states have instituted rules that require drug and alcohol policies to be in place," Morris said. "Typically, Labwire's costs to implement drug testing programs can be managed for between 2 to 4 percent, so the small business owner still has a margin of savings in his pocket," Morris explained.

This is the conclusion reached by a comprehensive study of the credit scores associated with small business owners' commercial and personal spending habits, carried out by Experian. Both types of credit report were studied in an attempt to determine which would impact the small business most if it turned out to be poor. The study monitored 50, 000 small businesses for four years, recording data related to the size of the business, the number of employees and the age of the business, as well as business owners' approach to personal credit.

Card Credit Processing Service Morris said that there were 700 companies in the drug testing field nationwide but only 10 of those do over $2 to $3 million in revenue, which makes his self-driven crusade to be the leader in that business a stone's throw from his reach.

Center Credit Service Union Morris estimated that Labwire would reach the 6th to 7th spot, putting his Houston-based company in the top ten, though he could not substantiate those figures to AXcess News, referring to his year-end financials to support his objectives when the company releases that information.

Card Credit Service Wireless Of the states that offer discounts in workman's compensation, Maine offered between 5 to 15%, Georgia 7.5%, Fl, S.C., and MS also offered 5%. In all there were 20 states enrolled, Morris said.

Credit Security Service Union Morris' background gives him 22 years experience in the field and he said he bought a private company which became Labwire, Inc. in 2003. Labwire went public through a reverse merger in March 2005, so treading on the edges of Wall Street is a new arena for Morris. But his microcap company has been making progress having announced a new contract in late September with Transportation Services, Inc., a long-haul truckload transportation provider that transports goods between the U.S. and Mexico. Last week, Labwire inked a deal with the Port Arthur refinery to provide additional canine units for security and bomb detection at the 3,500 acre facility outside of Port Arthur TX, which showed that Morris' company is doing more than employee screening.

Credit Report Service But within Labwire's industry there are not many comparables to draw on as Labwire is one of only three publicly held companies in the US that provide employee screening. First Advantage Corp. (Nasdaq: FADV) and Choice Point (NYSE: CPS) are the other two.

Blogspot Com Christian First American Corp. (NYSE: FAF) contributed its Credit Information Group to First Advantage Corp. in the third quarter, giving it effectively 80 percent control of the employee screening company.

Christian Counseling Credit Earlier this summer, Choice Point was the target of a nationwide credit breech when hackers broke into its data and illegally mined thousands of personal account files that prompted California to force the company to divulge those thefts to residents there. California is the only state with a law that requires the disclosure of private credit information theft. Though many states are now considering similar legislation.

Shares of Labwire closed up 3 cents, or 13%, at $0.26. First Advantage closed down 15 cents, or .5%, at $26.18, but managed to rise 1 cent in after-hours trading. Choice Point closed down 24 cents, or .5%, to end Monday's trading session at $42.26.
