the Game Boy Advance SP will ship as early as this holiday, ahead
of most expectations of calendar year 2006," wrote McNealy.
McNealy also predicts a price of $99 for the next Game Boy,
with the Game Boy Advance dropping to $49. The Nintendo DS,
according to McNealy, will stay at its current price.

back Nintendo in releasing a new
Game Boy over a year year after the release of the DS. "The
Nintendo DS has, by and large, been additive to Nintendo
software revenue and units sales and not cannibalistic. Even
with the DS launch in November, GBA software revenue and unit
sales were up double-digits in December and January," wrote
McNealy.
Credit card provider Barclaycard has launched a new text alert service to remind customers when their monthly payment is due.
Card Credit Processing Service A new hardware launch would keep Nintendo in the top of
consumer's mind during the 2005 holiday season, according to
McNealy, as without new hardware Sony's PSP and Microsofts possible
release of the Xbox 2 could keep Nintendo overshadowed. Further,
McNealy believes that the current generation of Game Boy has a
major issue of piracy, epically in the Asia-Pacific region. By
changing over to a new medium, such as flash memory cards, like
those used for the Nintendo DS, piracy would no longer be as large
an issue.
Center Credit Service Union McNealy also believes that publishers like Activision and
THQ could benefit from a new Game Boy, writing, "We
believe that a new GBA SP could mean between $10 million to $20
million of additional revenue for both Activision and THQ in FY06,
and an additional $0.02 to $0.04 in earnings."

to CNN

a new Game Boy could come as early as March 10th at the
GDC when Satoru Iwata gives his keynote speech titled

any new hardware is announced we will bring that information to
