GDC: Returning To San Jose In 2006

Credit Pacific Service Union According to reports on the show floor, the Game Developers Conference will once again be migrating south to its previous home, San Jose, in 2006.
Event staff on the expo floor confirmed that the Moscone Center [where the conference is currently taking place] will be fully booked in March 2006, eradicating any chance of the GDC making a re-appearance. Fueled by this, San Jose city officials have confirmed GDC's return to the San Jose Convention Center in 2006.

According to GameSpot, GDC producers and exhibitors had left San Jose because of space limitations. However, with the SJCC opening a new 80,000-square-foot South Hall this June, this is now a non-issue.
