Curaçao Dive Savings Season

Curaçao visitors during the Dive Savings Season, from April 15 to June 15, will receive up to a $200 airfare credit from participating hotels and one free dive with the purchase of four dives. Visitors will also be able to partake in several surprise events that will be scheduled throughout the island for family enjoyment.

The following hotels will be participating in the Curaçao Dive Savings Season with a $100 airfare credit with a five-night stay: Livingstone Jan Thiel Resort; Hilton Curaçao; Howard Johnson Plaza; Avila Beach Hotel; Floris Suite Hotel; and Sunset Waters Beach Resort.

SuperClubs Breezes Curacao Resort and Casino will offer a $100 airfare credit rebate with a 5-night minimum stay.

The Kurá Hulanda is also participating, with a five-night Curaçao Dive Savings Season Package for $685 per person, based on double occupancy in a standard room, including tax and service charge. The offer includes a $200 air credit per room, one free ticket to the Museum Kurá Hulanda (with the purchase of one ticket) and 20% off the ticket price for the "Living History" play. The museum two-for-one offer is also available to nonguests. Rates are valid from May 21 to June 4 and are combinable with the air credit. Dives are not included. Curacao Marriott Beach Resort and Emerald Casino will offer a $100 airfare credit rebate with a 5-night minimum stay (up to 9 night stay) and a $200 airfare credit rebate on hotel stays that are 10 nights or more. In addition, guests who book a five-night stay at Papagayo Beach Resort will receive a $200 air credit and a 20% discount on all Mares equipment. The five-night package is $465 per person, based on double occupancy in a garden-view, two-bedroom villa. Rate is inclusive of tax and service charge. Divers may also choose to get a fifth dive for free with the purchase of four dives or receive complimentary air and weights for a second person (a $90 value). Ocean Encounters is hosting the 1st annual "Ultimate Ocean Encounter" dive event during the Curaçao Dive Savings Season. The Ultimate Ocean Encounter is a two-week period from May 21st to 28th and May 28th to June 4th, 200 that has been organized to raise awareness of Curaçao. The event incorporates diving with seminars on how to protect the reef and promote safe diving, instruction clinics, and an underwater treasure hunt and beach volleyball tournament. The diving, which will be specially priced, will be conducted by Ocean Encounters, the island's premier Five Star PADI IDC and National Geographic Dive Center.

Accommodations will be provided by Lions Dive Beach and Resort and Breezes Superclubs, an all-inclusive property where kids 13 and under stay free.

Packages start at $700 and are all based on a seven-night stay with six days of diving including eight boat dives. The various sponsors, including Sport Diver and PADI Diving Society, will donate gifts and prizes. Through the Curacao Sea Aquarium divers will have the opportunity to dive with the sea lions from boat or shore, feed the sharks and enjoy dolphin swims and encounters. Guests staying at the Lions Dive Beach and Resort will receive free entrance to the Curacao Sea Aquarium for the week.
