Credit Pacific Service Union Thousands of video-game developers, eager media, and gamers
around the
world have already been affected
by Nintendo President Satoru Iwata's keynote yesterday at the

ground-breaking highlights:
- Nintendo's next console, codenamed "Revolution" is right on
schedule and will feature backwards compatibility and Wi-Fi
features. IBM will be powering the system with a processing chip
codenamed "Broadway." Nintendo will also continue their agreements
as well with ATI, which is developing a graphics chip codenamed
"Hollywood."
- Nintendo will soon offer a free Wi-Fi service for the DS
sometime this year. The service will provide gamers with a link to
other Nintendo DS users globally.
- Iwata showcased several new DS
games, including the Wi-Fi
enabled Animal Crossing, wireless-enabled Mario Kart
DS, the voice-interactive NintenDogs, and the
musically-charged Electro Plankton.
- Also unveiled were new images and a brand-new trailer of The
Legend of Zelda for the Nintendo GameCube, slated to release in
time for the 2005 holiday
season. If you haven't seen it, it's a definite must. CLICK
