There are several ways to keep track of the balance on your PAYjr
Visa Buxx Card. Both the Parent and the Teen can check the card
balance online at any time or by calling 1-800-409-8606 to retrieve
the balance using the automated phone service. You can also set up
email or mobile Alerts to be notified of the card balance.
Teens should also keep their receipts to compare them to the online
statement as a way of understanding how much they are spending and
where. It's a valuable budgeting exersice that teaches the value of
money and increases awareness of the card balance, which is
important when making a purchase. Back to Top

Prepaid cards are electronic cards which allow card holders to access funds deposited to an account. A prepaid card can be used to withdraw money or pay for goods and services. Unlike a credit card, which extends a line of credit, prepaid cards are more similar to debit cards. Prepaid card holders can only spend the money they load on the card. Since no credit is extended to prepaid card holders, interest and overdraft fees are avoided.
