Race Boards:Fanatic Falcon 293 CCS
Author:
Staff This is an odd-looking board for the late '90s. Practically the opposite of the Berky 288 in thickness flow, it's quite thick at the mast track. It's also quite flat in rocker and has surprisingly little scoop in the nose. There are some unusual grooves in the deck, but they don't really add or detract from performance. Otherwise, construction is good and components are excellent. This board has good speed in flat water, and it's easier to jibe than other race boards in its size range, but it didn't get any of our testers very excited.
