Latin American Project Coordinator for BiblioWorks Megan Sherar was raised in Asheville, NC but has been living in South America for the past 5 years. As a Peace Corps volunteer, she lived in a small community in rural Bolivia for two years, working on community development projects such as bee keeping and building a small library. In 2005, Megan returned to Bolivia as the Latin America Project Coordinator for Biblio Charitable Works, Inc., an outreach project of Biblio.com. Since that time she has established six community libraries in and around Sucre, the capital of Bolivia. Megan enjoys coming home once a year to be with her family and friends, and while in Bolivia, enjoys reading Spanish authors such as Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Pablo Coelho, and Isabel Allende.
