He has the responsibility to resolve the changing dynamics of the region and this is the legacy he must be given time to address. It is an unwritten practice that leaders in the status of Dr. Jean Holder do not relinquish responsibilities until they are satisfied that the incoming chief executive has the commitment, passion and vision to take the organisation to a new path, put differently, his actions may indicate that he does not see these skills in his present leadership team.

Academic curriculum for CXC and university is one lever of operation but to be in the same room as these greats would have been a treasure for those students for their entire lives.
